Concert performance DIVA
Rarefired, but fun!
Professional, but still comical!
All the details elaborated, however full of unexpectations!
A performance with full of pitiless self-irony.
Diva is a concert performance that mixes classical music and theatre. The protagonist is an opera singer who makes no compromises – at least not with her piano accompanist. Together they run through a repertoire of well-known songs and opera pieces (Wagner, Bizet, Rossini), in which most things that can go wrong will go wrong.
Annaliisa Pillak (mezzo soprano)
Marko Hilpo or Siim Selis (piano)
Directed by Paavo Piik (Tallinn City Theatre)
Duration: 1 hour
No language barrier, the show can be understood by all audiences.

Reviews:
“I cannot remember the last time when I laughed so much, at the same time enjoying a very high level of singing accompanied by masterful piano playing. This must be seen and heard!” – Tiiu Levald
“It has been long since I went to see a performance twice… The author Paavo Piik has used mezzo soprano Annaliisa Pillak´s anecdotes from the lives of opera singers.
The talents of Piik and Pillak have been combined in the best possible way and the diva clichés are boldly turned into absurd, always being one step ahead of the audience. …
Anything that can happen, will happen. But what is happening on the stage is much more larger than in the life. The measure of emotion constantly beats the scale. …” – Kairi Prints
